My Boy.

So. My baby will no longer be a baby in less than a week. He's turning 1 and I just can't seem to grasp the fact! I have no idea where the last year has gone and although I have had the honour and pleasure of spending every day with him this last year, I still don't know how the time has flown by! I'm not ready! I still want him to be my little baby! And although I do know that he is and always will be, I think I have finally started to understand what mom's are referring too when they talk about how quickly they grow and how quickly they become independent. I'm so excited to see his personality continue to grow and evolve but at the same time, I want him to be dependant on me forever!!! lol, silly huh?! But there it is!! So I have posted a recent photo we took while I let him play on the window sill, he just thought it was the coolest thing and here he is saying "Look at me! I'm so big!"

A day at the Calgary zoo.

So I will only add a few to this post as they aren't really for anything but my own personal enjoyment! I was recently visiting the in-laws and my little squishy (hey, that wasn't my nickname, it was my husband's!) grandma and myself headed out to the zoo for Cole's first time...he is only 10 months but he just loved it...well, according to me anyway...the only things that caught his attention were the monkeys and this cute little bear that grandma bought him.
